Smart lighting: convenience and control at the touch of a button
Smart lighting allows luminaires to be controlled via smartphone, tablet, or remote control. With the digital system, you can switch the lights on or off at the press of a button, adjust brightness, color temperature, or even hue. Pre-set lighting scenes can tailor the lighting to the time of day, mood, or activity – whether it’s for work, relaxation, or ambient evening lighting.

Automation, sensors, and energy efficiency
Smart light fixtures equipped with motion sensors or timers switch on automatically when they detect movement and turn off after a delay when no one is present. This not only saves energy, but also ensures the lights work exactly where and when they’re needed. Modern control systems also allow you to manage lighting in zones or monitor and control it remotely via an internet connection – even across an entire building.

Smart LED light sources and luminaires
The range includes various smart bulbs, LED panels, wall and ceiling lamps, and strips that can be controlled via remote control or mobile app. Some types allow adjustable color temperature (e.g. 2700K–6500K), while others feature RGB LEDs for colorful mood lighting. The lighting can also sync to the rhythm of music or follow an automatically scheduled routine. Some smart lighting systems connect wirelessly to each other and to a central hub.

Intelligent lighting – also integrable into building management systems
Smart lighting goes beyond home comfort: it can also be implemented in offices, shops, or industrial settings. A well-designed lighting system can be integrated with other digital systems (e.g. Building Management Systems – BMS), allowing lighting to work together with temperature control, blinds, or security systems.
